National Pavement Expo Coming to Cleveland in 2018

Many of the practices and techniques used by Raymond Wolk Paving while delivering top-notch paving services will be featured and can be learned at the National Pavement Expo. This year, the National Pavement Expo will be held Feb. 7-10 at the Huntington Convention Center of Cleveland.

The National Pavement Expo features a large exhibit hall filled with educational sessions, including a day-long, pre-expo Pavement Boot Camp and 11 in-depth workshops.

Many paving companies like R Wolk Paving have benefited greatly from attending National Pavement Expos in the past. In 2018, the National Pavement Expo hits Cleveland for the first time ever. The expo’s 32-year history includes stops in Nashville, Tenn., Charlotte, NC, Tampa Bay, Fla., and Atlanta, Ga., but this is the first time that the National Pavement Expo will be held north of the Mason-Dixon Line, which Raymond Wolk Paving was thrilled to hear.

The pre-expo Pavement Bootcamp will be held Feb. 6 and run by Brad Humphrey of Pinnacle Development Group. This will be a great way for individuals to gain a better understanding of what Raymond Wolk Paving does and how R Wolk Paving grew to become the company that it is today.
The National Pavement Expo is coming off its largest and most successful event in 2017 when the trade show was held in Nashville. But Raymond Wolking Paving is expecting this year’s to be even bigger and better.

Of the 54 total educational sessions, 43 are 90 minutes long and the rest are considered to be in-depth sessions. This year will feature 39 new sessions to the National Pavement Expo.

February’s National Pavement Expo will cover a wide variety of topics that R Wolk Paving finds intriguing. These topics range from basics for crew members and those new to the business to advanced “how to” lessons for becoming more efficient when completing paving projects.

Here are some of the sessions that will be held at the 2018 National Pavement Expo in Cleveland:
